3 Principles of Salvation for All

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Good deeds are those that are praised by all humans and the Holy Quran has pointed to three principles without naming any religion.

The Qur'an tells us how anyone can be saved, no matter what their religion is. It says that three things matter most: doing good, believing in God, and believing in life after death.

“However, those who have become believers (the Muslims), and the Jews, the Christians and the Sabaeans who believe in God and the Day of Judgment and strive righteously will receive their reward from the Lord and will have nothing to fear nor will they be grieved.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 62)

God Almighty points to what can lead to our prosperity in this world and in the hereafter. He tells us that if we do these three things, we will have peace and happiness. We will not be afraid of the future or regret the past. This is what he said:

“The friends of God will certainly have nothing to fear, nor will they be grieved.” (Surah Yunus, verse 62)

The first thing is to believe that there is a God who created everything. He made the world beautiful and amazing, and we can see his power and kindness in everything He does. It doesn't make sense to think that all this order came from nothing or by chance.

The second thing is to believe that our soul never dies and that we will face God one day. He made us for a purpose and He wants us to live forever with Him. Death is not the end, but a new beginning. Our actions in this world matter, because they affect our future in the next world. God will reward us for doing good and punish us for doing evil.

The third thing is to do good deeds because we know that God is watching us and he cares about what we do. Doing good deeds makes us happy and brings us closer to God. We should not do anything bad or harmful, because it will hurt us and others.

The good deeds in this verse are not about following specific rules or rituals of any religion. Good deeds are what everyone agrees on and expects from each other. Some examples are being honest, truthful, fair, loyal, helpful, kind, generous, and friendly.

So anyone who follows any religion can be saved if they do these three things: believe in God, believe in life after death, and do good deeds. If they don't do these three things, sticking to the appearances of any religion cannot save us.

This verse agrees with what the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "I was sent as a prophet to perfect moral virtues."
